Co-Director of the Pipeline Integrity Institute, Dharma Wijewickreme, recently awarded the prestigious 2021 G. Geoffrey Meyerhof Award from the CGS (Canadian Geological Society) for “Outstanding Contributions to Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering in Canada.”
A $1,000 prize is offered annually by Young Pipeliners Association of Canada to an outstanding third or fourth year undergraduate engineering student who has successfully completed at least two of the following UBC Faculty of Applied Science courses related to pipeline engineering: IGEN 450, IGEN 451, and IGEN 452.
